Overview
Authorize.net is a payment gateway service provider allowing merchants to accept credit card and electronic check payments through their Web site and over an IP connection. Authorize.net also provides a service, Customer Information manager (CIM), enabling merchants to tokenize and store their customer’s sensitive payment information on their secure servers. This service simplifies the PCI DSS compliance as well as the payments process for returning customers and recurring transactions.
Customers must sign up for Authorize.net and their CIM (Customer Information Manager) service to obtain the following necessary information for ASI SmartBooks setup:
-API Key -User Name
-Transaction Key -Password
